We woke up one afternoon with laughter and loud talking. There was a group of Indians were taking photos and sitting outside the apartment. They left after we spoken to them but that was not the only time we had people there. There should be signage to let people know that the area is for residents only. The carpet was is in need of a serious clean...

"This is a beautiful and tranquil place surrounded by nature. In the mornings, we were pleasantly surprised by the chirping and whistles of different birds; and cool, crisp and fresh forest air. We will visit again."

"A nice, historic building with friendly staff and an impeccable location. The botanic gardens adjoining are a real treasure. The food was a letdown though - high tea service was slow, we had to ask to be served after 30 minutes (even to choose tea). The sandwiches were made on stale bread. Surprisingly poor since the Verandah restaurant is highly rated. Room was well laid out and practical."
