"This was a very comfortable and large apartment with two rooms and a kitchen/bath. There was a washer and dryer which we did not use but were happy to see. There is a shower and a tub! The beds were extremely comfortable - nice and firm mattresses and everything was very clean. The owner was very friendly and happy to help with details. We decided to spend the holidays in Riga this year as we gathered our family from the UK, KSA to be with our son in Riga were he is going to school. We were very pleased with the apartment as it allowed us to stay in a home environment for Christmas."

"Very hot days when we were there. Some fans had been great in the apartment. The entrance is pretty dark in the night so little hard for elderly people to see the stairs. There is some noise from the street in the night and early mornings. "

"Nice place in a good location, very friendly service. Big enough for a family of four, accommodates in the extreme case even 8 people. The negative sides: (i) extremely noisy, because right downstairs is a popular pub. Hence not recommended for a family stay; (ii) the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Also night tables and reading lamps would be nice."

"Nice area, walking to downtown, big rooms, with decent kitchen, no TV, shower very tight you can pass from hot to cold water just by moving accidentally with your elbow. There is a bad odor coming from the water pipes in all the building (old installations)."

"Det var som udgangspunkt en fin lejlighed, den ligger ved en stor indfaldsvej, meget trafik især var det frustrerende at motorcykler brugte vejen som racerbane. At bussernes kabler var fastgjort på husmuren så hele lejligheden rystede hver gang en at de busser kørte forbi. Rengøringen lod en del tilbage at ønske - gulvene var beskidte og bruseforhænget var muggen. Selve lejligheden femstod lidt slidt og nusset. "

"The overall impression was positive. We did not have any concerns about the apartment or amenities, or service. Especially the location was perfect! If I ever go to Riga again, I would love to stay in the same area. The only problem was the absence of the elevator, while trying to climb up (with or without a luggage) on the 6th floor. For older people it would have been simply impossible."

"Hotel was in a great location, we stayed in the other building but was still nice and only couple seconds of walk between both for breakfast. Only thing is to be aware you have to pre book your use of the spa and it’s a €20 pp charge. Which I didn’t know before I booked this location. But was worth the €20 but I would have liked to use it every day we stayed. Close to the old town and trams and buses "

Great value hotel

"Good value hotel in a great location near the 22 bus stops to and from the airport. On the edge of the old town so within walking distance of all the attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful, I paid 16 euros to extend check out from 12 to 3pm and there’s a room that you can store your luggage in. Although it’s a little dated this is a lovely clean and safe hotel. As a solo female traveller I would definitely recommend it "
