"Generally a decent stay but just a few points which were not right & so thus was the reason for not giving a glowing review. 1..the weather seal on the edge of the external door had come away for 25 cm & just was getting worse. 2..no bulb was present in the living area floor lamp. 3..no washing up liquid was in the cupboard & so resulted in us needing to purchase our own. There was a list in the cupboard of all items which should be present. 4..there was water all over the kitchen top & we...

"Amazing, spacious, well equipped, modern apartment in a great location for town and coast. Very helpful and responsive staff. A few very small niggles on equipment (2 small pans, no big one - meant pasta in two pans and sauce in casserole in the oven!) and facilities (no drawers in bedrooms, no blind in bathroom) means a 95 rather than 100% positive review - but we would really really recommend!"

"Excellent self catering accommodation in superb location. Luxurious throughout. Quality beds and bedding ensuring a comfortable nights sleep. The house is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Whitby and the harbour. The unfortunate thing was that we were only there for two nights. It would have been nice to stay longer. I would highly recommend this property. "

"Harbour cottage is conveniently located on the High Street, less than a minutes walk away from the beach and pub. It appeared freshly decorated and it was lovely and modern throughout. Things to be aware of though if you are sharing the property with friends are the bathroom door doesn’t close fully or lock so you can see into there a little with the door closed and the sofa would only comfortably seat 3 adults in my opinion. "
