"This guy s perhaps the nicest hotel in the UK I have ever stayed in. Every aspect mentioned scores a 10. Furthermore, the steak I ordered as room service was perhaps the best steak I’ve ever had in a hotel and also on a par with some of my favourite restaurants I’ve eaten in, during the last 5 years Room ready as soon as I arrived. Hotel staff excellent. Facilities excellent and the whole stay had a nice ambience. Breakfast spread outstanding Quiet and so clean you could have eaten food off...

"Great staff all round at check in and checkout and breakfast was very good. A bit disappointed with the shower head, which came off during a shower and could have hurt someone. However the response was prompt and it was fixed with a sincere apology. I love staying here and will def stay here again. "

"Stayed in Polo room. Absolutely gorgeously done out. Perfect location. Nice amenities with little complimentary snacks. Loved the sweetie jar! Room was at top of building and it was a hot day. Sadly tho no air con so had a noisy seperate air con unit in room that needed to put on as too hot without. On a less warm day you wouldn’t need air con. Would definitely recommend and stay again! "

"Excellent property for family of 6 adults and two children. Could do with a safety gate to keep little ones safe on the stairs but excellent place to stay. A little noisy in first floor bedroom as the window catch was broken so the window did not shut properly but did not dampen our stay "
