"To be honest, it was a bit disappointing. The resort is beautiful and when it opened it was probably top notch. But it isn’t being looked after to the standard it aspires to. The room wasn’t close to being clean enough for the hotel grade and the price paid. There were surface things like children’s hand prints on doors and windows but longer term issue like black mold in the shower and the high windows looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in months. "Nice and clean hotel at good location. Customer service was friendly and good. However, aircon in the room is a bit too cold despite tuning down the fan speed and temperature. Breakfast buffet wasn't great in term of the variety of food and taste. Would consider G Hotel again in my next visit."

"The entire staff at Shangri-La Rasa were fantastic and very accommodating! It's because of their warm hospitality, we enjoyed Penang as much as we did. Special shout out to Duty Manager Dave who helped us with our request. Definitely recommend staying here!!"

"Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful - phone was very quiet and hard to hear when speaking to staff - buttons on phone were not relevant to the call being made - ended up only using the concierge number as all other numbers were either not answering or going to the wrong area - room 2228"

"The hotel is satisfactory, and the breakfast is quite good with a wide variety of options. However, the in-room amenities leave much to be desired. The slippers are of poor quality, and there are no pajamas provided. Additionally, the selection of complimentary drinks is limited. The staff's English proficiency is lacking, and their service lacks a warm touch. If it weren't for the breakfast, I would choose Sunway instead."

"Plung pool on balcony and views along coastline are amazing. The size of the suite is huge. Food in restaurant was lovely. Not much to do in local area but bus shops outside, which also goes to airport and Georgetown. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. Everything from Dimsum, eggs station, cereal, fruit and Danish treats. Definitely would stay again."

Great hotel for a realx vacation at the beach

"Great hotel for a relax staycation at the beach. We had a room with a private balcony overlooking the beach. The breakfast buffet was really good, with a great variety of options. The infinity pool is a must. We didn't really go to the beach or swim in the ocean because of jellyfish. The staff was super friendly and always available to help us and answer our questions. We really enjoyed our stay and will definetely come back. "
