"I’ve been skiing for thirty years and this is the best hotel for a ski break that I’ve ever encountered- great location, excellent facilities, magnificent food and the friendliest staff."

"Everything as expected, just to remember they will ask you to clean the rooms including bath rooms and toilet otherwise they will charge you. I don’t know if this place has additional cleaning done before you get the next guest checkin. "

"Very family friendly. Need to improve the instructions of getting there by public transport. All in all a very well situated place, clean and a fully equipped kitchen. Nice pool and saunas, could warm up the pool water… Soaps and shampoo - its a shame that they are not included. Recommended for a ski trip. "

"Leuke ligging met een prachtig zicht op de bergen (als je aan de goede kant van het hotel slaapt). Ski in ski out is geweldig: ski’s aan en weg! Net vernieuwd hotel en ziet er heel mooi uit maar toch eerder “opgesmukt”; zal waarschijnlijk niet lang mooi blijven. Bijvoorbeeld: verf van de badkamer die al aan het afbladderen is omdat badkamer na het douchen onder water staat wegens te klein douchescherm. "Absolutely stunning hotel, with exceptional service from start to finish. The attention to detail was spot on, and they even realised it was my birthday during the stay and left a birthday message and small selection of local produce in the room which was a lovely touch and surprise. Thank you so much for a brilliant few nights. "

"Friendly and family run. We choose not to eat at the restaurant only because there was nothing that our youngest would have eaten but the chef was cooking on the terrace over an open flame, it looked and smelled amazing. So maybe some options for younger guests? Room was on the small side but functional for one night. A few cobwebs in the corners but that is easily fixed. Overall I wound recommend for a stay in the Alps."

"Very nice staff and the food is excellent. The room is spacious and clean but we’ve been a bit disappointed by the bathroom, the shower and hair dryer look like the one there are in hospitals (shower without curtain or wall, it’s hard not to flood the bathroom, hair dryer mounted to the wall). There was no TV remote in the room, we haven’t been given the password for the wifi neither. Overall it’s a nice place to stay for a ski trip and we would definitely recommend the restaurant, but we think...

"Poor reception in the property. We arrived at about 10 pm. No reception open. Eventually found an envelope taped to the wall with our room key in it and confusing instructions as to how to find room. On the day we left a couple had been waiting 8 hours to check in. Staff in general vsried fro rude to intolerant. The exception being the delightful ladies providing breakfast. The barman avoided any work at all and showed his real displeasure if you asked anything of him.. On the plus side great...

"La Boule de Neige is a friendly and welcoming 2 star hotel located just a few metres from the fantastic new gondola in Vercland. The hotel provided everything that we needed for our short skiing trip - free on-site parking, a ski room, comfortable beds, hearty breakfast. All this just a short walk from the gondola station."

"The beautifully designed and furnished hotel still had a casual, welcoming feel. The owners live on site and are very polite and helpful, interested enough to feel engaged but not intrusive or nosy. The room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel and we appreciated the full-sized toiletries. The only negative thing I could say about the place is that there is a bit of road noise if you have the windows open. "
