"Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars."

"We stayed in the hotel in the second half of June. We were in a King bed Room. It was large and comfortable, had a good balcony, large wardrobe space, a safe, and a large TV. The bathroom was not what one would expect. Although it was large, it had a shower over bath rather than a full shower; there was no bidet; and the toilet was far away from running water. "Run…don’t walk. Run away from this property. The pictures don’t represent this property. Not dirty. Dark. Old. Vinyl furniture. The ‘cafeteria’ and that’s what is ridiculously crowded. The property is sandwiched between refineries and camping grounds. 2 stars maybe…4 is offensive. We left. Didn’t stay. Didn’t get our money back, don’t care. Managers have dealt with this situation before - clearly. They were dealing with another couple when we left. Terrible. You’ve been warned. "

"We really enjoyed our stay, we chose the hotel as it is close to El Rocio and we wanted to go to the Pilgrimage. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff were friendly and efficient and it is situated on the edge of town making it easy to access from the main road in. We would have liked to have had coffee in the restaurant after our evening meal rather than having to go to the bar. Would recommend to anyone"

"What was great: Clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast options, great service all around. What was not so great: It was 78-80 degrees in Huelva (in March) for the days we stayed there. The room was an oven and there was no A/C. When we contacted the reception, they told us that the A/C is only turned on in the summer months. "Staff friendly but the rooms are becoming very dated and when you look closely all areas of the resort are looking tired and in need of a refresh. Had to repeatedly ask for refreshments to be topped up. However the food was ok, not amazing but plenty of choice, the wine choice is very limited and over priced 3 x that of supermarket prices. "Very nice property for the money, breakfast buffet was only 11E. Bed & pillows soft and comfortable. Just stayed for the night so we didn’t take advantage of the pool, and the ferry to the beach. Wish we had more time. Only complaint was that the room was hot and stuffy, no a/c available due to cool temps outside. No room fan was available either due to it being late when I called the front desk. "

"Check in took forever ,If you go, take a print out they could not do it with the app ,2 days it took grrr.If you want a drink at the bar be prepared to be thirsty I have never seen such slow service between 10 to 15 min wait wether there are 2 people in front or 10.Food was ok entertainment rubbish,Wine on all inclusive terrible put it on your frozen chips.The pool is wonderful"

"The room was dusty when we arrived and we had to ask them to clean it again. The furniture was in a bad state (very old) and there were build works in a house next to our room that woke us up very early. The hotel didn't offer any compensation. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good though. "

"This Paradore is very very dated in its decor and furniture. The pool area is not looked after with dead grass in many places on the lawn through non watering. The chairs and tables on its outside terrace were of very low quality as were the sun beds around the pool. There were obviously not enough staff on duty with long delays waiting to be served at the bar. I asked for a taxi to the bus station, she hesitated, then called one taxi who said he was busy, she did not adk for how long. Fantastic hotel!!!

"This is our second stay at a Barcelò hotel and a second excellent trip. We had an excellent stay at the Umbria Mar! The view from our terrace was an outstanding see view with plenty of space to move around. Although the bathroom area could be updated, the whole room was very spacious and the bed incredibly comfortable. All the amenities were spot on with a good size swimming pool, the most number of sunbeds I have ever seen at an hotel and the staff were incredible. Plenty of entertainment without it being pushy or over the top. As this is predominately a Spanish clientele hotel, it was very chilled out, a lot of talking and no loutish behaviour. We received a fantastic surprise from the hotel, with a birthday cake for my partner left in our room and a happy birthday message by email. Great touch and very much appreciated. Will be returning again as we loved staying here so much. "
