"very affordable, convenient to downtown hotel. Property has been upgraded. Room was clean. Lobby, restaurant nicely done. Room was spacious but we had suite and could have used more end tables. Kosher food option was very good and reasonable. Negatives: on a busy intersection with occasional loud music from nearby bars, cars. off site parking down the street. Hotel ad says and front desk says they have special arrangement but the "hotel" price is no different from the public price...."

"Wonderful hotel with a local flavor and clientele. Clean rooms and fantastic breakfast. Coming from the US and corporate hotels, I found it refreshing to have ABC's fresh- cooked eggs, pastries, and breads rather than cellophane wrapped food. Same too with the hotel staff, real hardworking people doing their jobs and not the corporate avatars found in the big chain hotels."

"Hotel is close to the train station and the harbour. Some staff were helpful, others less so. Even though the hotel was apparently recently renovated, it gives the feeling of being run-down - there were holes in the bathroom floor towel, the fittings on the shower pipes were loose, the toilet was installed skew with the toilet paper holder not properly fixed and hanging skew. The fitting for the hand shower was at waist height, meaning the only way to get a proper shower was to hold it above...

Walk to everything But the street location makes it very loud if your room is on the street side Also parking impossible unless you pay 12 euros per day at a garage not far away.
