"Super location for exploring Pécs. I was in a room on the top floor which was perfect for sleeping, as it had incredible black out blinds. The hotel room is modern and clean but pretty basic. A tiny soap and one kind of soap for showering/washing hair. The towels seemed old and were hard. The hotel had no ice when I asked for some. I think 10:30am for check out is too early. However, the location really is fabulous and it was comfortable. "

"Really enjoyed staying here. Apartment was clean, spacious (high ceilings), very modern kitchen (I opted not to cook, but all amenities are there - half refrigerator, dishwasher, pots/pans, dishes, utensils - also small dining table), bed was comfortable, desk/room to work and sofa. "When we tried to check in the hotel owner wanted us to cancel the reservation to get the money refunded, and pay in cash instead. He claimed he never got payed by hotels.com or its affiliated sites. It was very uncomfortable and we felt very pressured in the moment. - when we stayed firm on that ether we stay with the original payment via hotels.com or we find suitable accommodation elsewhere his attitude changed and he would “let us stay the night and figure it out the next day.” After getting...

"The hotel is pretty run down, need a a lot of maintenance. The carpet in the room was dirty, the mattresses on the bed were worn and you sunk in them when laid in the bed. Towels were small. The bathroom was clean but one of the doors was missing from the shower cubicle and there was a piece of shower curtain hanging to replace the door. Breakfast was OK. There’s a lot to be desired for the price we paid for this room. "

"We booked the Vulkan Wellness Panzio Hotel and arrived at 3.55pm. We were told there was a receptionist until 8 pm but no one was there. There was a notice on the door to ring. We phoned the number and were told no room was alocated to us but we had been given a room in the sister hotel. It took us some time and a number of phone calls and an email to the same person to gain the address of this second hotel due to language barriers. "Very well kept hotel in excellent location. Room was very small and tight. You could not walk around the bed without turning sideways. If driving there, navigate to the Hotel Palatonus Parking, you cannot drive to the hotel address, it is on a footpath."
