"Hotel lacked room amenities like a variety of beverages. For example there were only 2 packets of coffee and tea bags provided. Bottled water in the room appears to be old with condensation inside the bottle. Toilet paper holder was wobbly. The wood and paint at the toilet door jam was peeling. However, room was clean and staff were very friendly. "

"Loved our stay in Courtyard by Marriott. Short walk to the river and then a beautiful stroll into central part of town. Pool at this resort is now one of my favourites. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Best shower."

"I recently stayed at The Pines Melaka for 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive to and from Jonker Street, making it easy to explore the area. We stayed on the 27th floor, and our room offered a beautiful view. However, we were woken up at 5/6 am each morning by the loud chanting from the nearby mosque, which was quite disruptive. "Lovely little place in a quiet neighbourhood. Lots of local restaurants around and very near the Hatten Square malls. Very friendly and helpful staff (and resident cat). Nice roof top lounge for chilling."

"This is a lovely quirky hotel which is refreshingly different from all the other chain hotels. We upgraded to premium and had a large four poster bed. A massive shower room. If you fancy a change from the bog standard chain hotels then definitely try this one. "

"Loved the stay here. Rooms were spacious and staff were very friendly. Its in Little India but its very near to the famous locations in Melaka. The toilets are also very clean and the heaters are working perfectly. Overall, great stay, will come back!"

"Generally a good stay with efficient, friendly staff. My only issues were the air con which was a very warm 22C and i had to lower to 16C to get an acceptable coolness. The hot water in the shower was at best lukewarm. Location is excellent."
