"The location of the property is great. The parking onsite is limited but there is also street parking. The beds are very comfortable and there is adequate heating and airconditioning in the rooms. "A really convenient location in Katoomba. Walkable to numerous cafes and restaurants and really close to scenic world. Reception had just closed when we arrived, but we were sent very clear check in instructions. Luckily the receptionist was still on site and went above and beyond to assist all of the late comers. "We arrived very late (close to closing time) as we were delayed at Sydney airport and had to drive there. The staff were really warm and welcoming and even though they had closed the kitchen, they put in a pizza for us so that our 10 year old son had some dinner before he slept. Very tasty and so grateful for it."

"This is a retreat hotel for treating people with cancer. I didn’t know that until after I arrived. I didn’t see anyone who was unwell. We I researched the property I realised it’s history. I thought wow, a massage chair in my room, cool European shower with jets etc, a gym and a chapel where I could light incense and candles. Filtered water is available, a fireplace in the eating area and very clean bedding. Whilst the room was small with no wardrobe, I only had an overnight bag and could cope....
