On the other hand reception was a bit like a small guest house but it worked. "Place was lovely, comfortable and clean. Host was very lovely, unfortunately we didn't get to try out any of the breakfast that was available as we don't really do breakfast. Area was so quiet, hardly any network coverage which was lovely as didn't have to worry about phones keep going off. Was the perfect way to switch off to the outside world. Would highly recommend "

"Just amazing "

"The room is on top of a typical countryside pub. Standard pub room condition, definitely not worth a 8.8 rating. The hand wash sink was blocked, shower head was broken, furnitures were old and not so clean. Although service was very friendly and helpful. I would rate it 7 of 10, maybe other rooms are better. "

"Very nice hotel. Room spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was varied and plentiful. One thing that was not good, hotels.com advertised our room as having free breakfast included, but when booking in we were told that this was not the case. We hope that we will receive a refund from Hotels.com, as this was still advertised on their site."

well placed to explore the area

"Ive past this place for years and wondered what it was. Eventually had the opportunity to stay and we were pleasantly surprised. Its a lot bigger than we expected. No real "bar " as such but the restaurant was pretty full and the food was good. Breakfast was excellent - enjoyed that more than dinner if im honest Well placed for exploring the area"
