"Had a wonderful long weekend (3 night) stay here. It's a short, easy walk from the main tourist strip so simple to get around Florence by foot. It's also easy to get to from the airport with tram and bus to just a few blocks away. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. "Mind blowing location! Absolutely gorgeous hotel, very private and charming. Our balcony overlooked the Duomo Basilica of Santa Maria and was located in the piazza. Staff were attentive helpful and spoke perfect English. "

"Adorable boutique hotel within walking distance of tourist sites! Many restaurants nearby Very helpful staff Newly remodeled My only negative point was it was a bit difficult to see the entrance since the lobby is on the third floor and the main building entrance is street level and the hotel entrance is not clearly marked! Other than that 5 star! Also nice breakfast buffet included!"

"I chose the Hotel David because they had parking and we were driving in from Orvieto. (Not many places with parking). What we found was a wonderful little hotel. It’s out of all the hustle and bustle of Firenze, but everything is easily walkable. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was just right. The free happy hour from 6:30 to 8:00pm is a great way to wind down the day. We had great conversations with other guests. I’d highly recommend Hotel David. "

"Loved our stay here! The staff was so nice and accommodating (letting us check in much earlier than check out). The room was clean, beautiful, and air conditioned. Not being used to the humidity we are most thankful for that! The only thing I’d say is that the shower doors were not able to close all the way so water got out and made the floor super wet so we felt bad leaving it like that. "This is outside of where we normally stay (near SMN) but it was excellent. Great staff, you can buy food in the lobby & micro in the main room. We learned to take the bus to wherever we were headed for the day. There’s a killer gelato place at the Piazza Baccaria where we went daily. Easy walk to caffe and dolci because we didn’t want the available hotel breakfast. Good restaurants. A lot less touristy and better prices, yet only 3 blocks from the Arno.
