"Property does not have a lot of staff and is not well maintained. The grounds are beautiful, but neglected. The property is also hard to access, down a dirt road for about a kilometer. So if you're without a car it is hard to leave in the evenings. When I was there the restaurant was dark and did not provide any service."

"Was reluctant to book this hotel after reading some of the negative reviews. We were so pleasantly surprised. The treehouse was beautiful clean, comfortable and in a beautiful property where elephants, monkeys, buffalo and fire flys can be seen <3 Even with nature, is close to amenities and the manager Mahinda ordered good priced tuktuks takinf us to a lovely area for dinner, which was catered for the foreign tourist and the food delicious and vibe amazing :) to top it all off i had an injury...

"We had three nights here. The temperature during the day was very hot and humid, as were the nights. Hibiscus villa has air conditioning and a fridge, which helped to make our stay comfortable. Service is very helpful. We needed a car and driver and this was arranged for us at short notice. Better to give a few days notice. Breakfast on the patio, surrounded by fruit trees and other plants was nice. Room is basic, but comfortable. If you choose to stay here you will be well looked after. "
