"Hotel was under remodeling which was naturally not advertised during booking, so there was a general look and feel of dust everywhere. There was a general feel of uncleanliness in the family rooms I paid for. The bathroom has an unpleasant smell. The bedsheet was not clean when we walked in but they replaced it right away. The restaurant food was just average, not recommended even for coffee (they offer Nescafé which is a pity considering Kumbakonum degree coffee is amazing). Better to go to...

"They checked me in to a room without even make sure it was functional . Bathroom flush handle was broken , no towels , extremely dirty door and sheets . They were dusty and brown No hot water . They later switched my room but again it was equally dirty , I was told to run 2 big buckets of water before you get hot water . Still no hot water in am . Staff are clueless . "We loved staying at the coconut alley. The staff were very kind and helpful. Most of all Mr. Saravanan who created bespoke dishes flawlessly. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunches and desserts. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and in close proximity to the beach. The rooftop also has great views of the sea. We would very highly recommend this to all the travelers who are looking for a peaceful convenient getaway from city life. "

"We really loved staying at this very unique place. The building which housed a British collector's office has been meticulously renovated preserving the original aura. The rooms are spacious, clean and open into a sea facing verandah. The front desk staff are very accommodating and helpful. The food was exceptional. We would very highly recommend the bungalow on the beach to everyone looking for a peaceful relaxing place. "
