"Scrolling through options that cost an arm and a leg, i was pleased to find this affordable option. Great staff, good food ( but after 4 days we had tried most options), comfy bed and beach access. No pool bar, but bar is a short walk. Ice machines would have been nice, but bar staff was accomodating. Chickens, a few lazy dogs and bashfull cats were a plus."

"This was a lovely place to stay after the long flight to Tahiti. The room was immaculate, air conditioning was robust, and furnishings were comfortable. The owner was extremely nice: she picked us up at the airport and drove us less than 5 minutes to the Lodge. Breakfast ($20)was delicious but overly large-a nice splurge for your first day, but not worth it otherwise. I would definitely stay here again--it is a convenient and pleasant place to recover from your flight and launch your French...

My cabin is situated right on the beach, and the view is stunning. All through the day there are boats passing and fish going by. "There is a steep hill up to the property and once your @ the parking spot, you must hike a bit more to get to the rental. Nice pool, very clean property! Owners reprimanded teenagers for playing ball in the pool, so I would have to assume that this property prefers adults over kids. Entrance to property is not well marked (but neither is any other property on Moorea!). "

"What a great find! Beachfront property with a excellent view (although the beach was somewhat rocky)! "Poe" (property mgr) was a kind soul and was always there if we needed anything. King bed downstairs and singles in the upstairs loft. This property doesn't have A/C, so it does get somewhat warm during the day, but the Pacific breeze cools the space at night. Good value for the money!"

"We had a wonderful time! The property is tucked in the mountain range with a breathtaking view. The house is decorated with heart and style. Mostly importantly, host Maxim and Agathe are exceptional! They prepared fresh and delicious breakfast daily at the time of our request, rented us snorkel gears, played with our 6-year old daughter, ordered us pizza delivery (due to our poor French!) and we shared great conversations. "We made reservations in November 2020 for our stay in June 2021. We arrived at the hotel and were turned away by the security guard as it was only housing housing COVID-19 guests. We had to quickly find a new hotel. This was a prepaid hotel stay and after calling the hotel multiple times we have still not received a refund."
