"Nice hotel, well maintained. Wonderful location as just on riverside. 1 km distance from bentota beach. Only few things are missing, just like... restaurant and swimming pool. For food they arrange from nearby restaurants. But owner is quite helpful, n quite bigger room size and bathrooms. If can adjust with above requirements...then its the best place to live in bentota, its quite chill and silent...so that you can enjoy yourself."

"unfortunately our room had a very bad smell, also the bed, the sheets and der pillows. don't know if it was mould or wallcolor or both. except of the bed an a very very tiny wardrobe (that also smells awfull) the room was empty. don't trust the "nice" guy called sasha or alexander. he will try to rip you off, I asure you! ;)"

"i really really really wanted to like this hotel but it was just one let down after the next. Got to hotel and was very tired had train and mill saws all night. In my room my beautiful ocean view was flawed by a huge crack in my window. Woke up next morn just deciding to roll with the punches take a hot shower...no water pressure smh ants all over my room. Now food that everyone raved about..yes what they have is good BUT 80% of whats on menu they dont have. Came to sri lanka for srilankan...

"The road to Rainforest edge is not good - and you can miss it. It's only partly tarmac, and that pitted. It's uphill, winding, and goes through a tea factory. But when you get there... "Boulder Garden Hotel is the most beautifull hotel I have ever been to. It is located in the middle of a forest. Except for the rooms, everything is in the outside: the restaurant is located below a huge boulder, the swimming pool is in the middle of rocks. The personel is very friendly and helpfull. The food is very good and relatively cheap (our dinner was 12 USD for two). The hotel is very small: there are only 5 or 6 rooms. So nearly all of it is there for you only. I recomend it very much. "
