"The facilities are well maintained and quite comfortable. It is kept sparklingly clean. Our room was on the smaller size but very comfortable. The beds are nearly new and the storage plentiful. The bathrooms are delightfully European. It is evident the owners take great pride in their property. I was dreadfully sick for much of our stay and one of the owners showed genuine concern and care for me. She provided herbal cough medicine and made sure I was still eating and drinking plenty. "The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the train station, making it very convenient for transient visitors. Many restaurants are found in the area for dining options. It’s also a few minutes walk to the Water Tower. The property is a bit old and you can smell it as you come inside your room. However, the room is very clean and spacious. The staff are nice and cordial. "

"We requested 2 single beds as travelling with my son. When got our room there was a double bed with 2 duvets. We asked about 2 single beds and was told it was a bed for 2 people! Also bad planning on my behalf booking a hotel in Germany on the opening night of the euro's. Especially as Germany won, it was loud until around midnight. Breakfast was ok"

"Pleasant hotel in two parts - accommodation in second part which meant going outside to get breakfast etc. Room big with balcony, although road right outside it was not noisy. No air-con though. Breakfast good choice, cooked if you wanted it and meals in the hotel good too. Service a bit slow."
