"The reason for the terrible rating is - No meal at the Hotel so I ask the reception where I could eat, they pointed me in the direction of a local bar. Had something to eat there at 21:00hrs and by 23:00hrs I was having terrible stomach pains. (before eating at this bar I had had a continental breakfast before leaving the ship at Bilbao) By 02:00hrs diahorrea makes an appearance. "This property had to have serious remodelation. Old plumbing, old taps, old and uncomfortable beds. The breakfast is in the bar and very poor (I mean, they don't inform what you can have). The staff is ok. The location is spectacular, by the river Tormes, and close to Salamanca."

"The lobby was nice, hallways were nice, rooms were presented to be clean, but had old-man armpit stench on the bed and in the bathroom; there was no wifi available in my room, and when I asked for a solution, I was told that wifi was not even reachable in my room, with a shameless grin...even though the advertisement mentioned 'free wifi'....however, aside their third-world tendencies, the staff tried to be nice in their own way...good price for the room, decent location"
