"***DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA***My first room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but the bathroom smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The next morning my eyes were dried out and my throat and lungs felt terrible. Plus, the air conditioning unit barely worked. It felt like 85 degrees when it was turned down to 60 degrees fahrenheit. It was hot and uncomfortable. The next morning I informed the front desk about the smoke, and they were willing to switch my room, which we did. The next...

"This is our second time staying at this hotel. It's convenient, walking distance to the night market. We didn't buy the breakfast, but there were plenty of options in the morning, easy to walk to. Love this viby hotel, modern hostel, nice people, and the second floor was cool to hang out in."

"This is a new and modern inn with tasteful decor, offering spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean rooms. The hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful. The husband provided us with detailed information about Alishan National Park, while his wife gave great recommendations for local dining, which saved us a lot of time. When we missed our bus, he kindly drove us to the nearest stop, and later even picked us up from a nearby town after dark, knowing that taxis and Uber aren't available in the Alishan area. We truly enjoyed our stay and are very grateful to the hosts for their hospitality. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. "

"The selling point of this place is its location from where you can walk 15 minutes up a small hill to see Alishan sunrise. This advantage may be the disadvantage the same time, because for these tourists who come to Alishan first time, transportation between the Alishan park entrance (the transportation hub) and the hotel is a little bit confusing. This hotel is half hour bus-driving from the entrance and you must pre-book the hotel shuttle to pick you up at the bus station. But overall my experience there was good and the lady boss was very nice and helpful. The facility and amenity are good."
