"The reception staff member was excellent, especially working on Dec 25th. A very different story with a different staff member during check-out on Dec 26th. In one of our rooms, there was a problem with a blocked toilet, which someone came to clear (more than once). When checking out, I was expecting an apology, but I faced an indignant staff member who just said "we know". "It is a beautiful hotel, the staff were helpful and accommodating! A short walk to the most wonderful Italian restaurant, just below the hotel. We had a clean king suite room with balcony that we very much enjoyed. We also dipped in the pool and hot tub one evening and it was a wonderful way to relax after a day of hiking. "
