"The owner did everything. He was the best traditional innkeeper I have ever encountered. He was very helpful with checking ferry times etc for us. My wife was looking for a nativity and he put us in contact with shopkeepers who might be able to help. The building itself had lots of character and history. Breakfast was excellent. "I made a booking through hotels.com. I then received check in instructions from Dancenter, which is a holiday agent in Denmark. As the booking was done through hotels.com I expected the stay to be fully paid, but when arriving at the property it was clear that on top of the hotels.com price I had to pay for electricity, water and heating. This was not explained on hotels.com. Arriving at the property I discovered that there was no bedding, so I had to go to the local supermarket and buy bedding....
