"Overall nice place. Very good breakfast. Room was hot in the evening. It had air conditioning, but the concierge refused to turn it on. I slept with the window open and the blind rolled all the way up. Maid didn't replace towels and dirty mugs. She'd tidy the bed though."

"This was probably the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in! I will break it down 4 in a bed style: Hosts: Were phenomenal! Nothing was too much for them. Friendly and courteous, efficient, kind and caring and all round fantastic! Facilities: we stayed in a suite, upgraded (for free!) to a lagoon view! "I stayed at Villa Venice Movie for two nights after two full weeks of travel throughout Italy as a solo female traveler from the United States. I felt so comfortable, my stay was a perfect location to decompress after long travels and the room had an additional soft throw blanket which was a nice touch to relax before my flight back home. "

"A nice traditional hotel located in a quiet area on Venice Lido. Rooms vary in size, some are excellent, others a bit cramped. Excellent breakfast. Venice Lido is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Venice. The hotels tend to be better and much cheaper than in Venice itself. "Excellent hotel fantastic amenities and staff couldn’t do enough. Used the main restaurant at night and the lounge bar during our stay. Food was excellent. Breakfasts were amazing and not rushed. If you just want to relax and distress then this the place. Would I return? Most definitely. "

"Really enjoyed our time there. Loved the smiles and service that the stafff gave. Made us cappucinnos which was good quality in the morning. It is in Lido (last ferry stop) so it's situated far from touristy areas, if you like that. The room like most Italian budget friendly stays are small but adequate. "We stayed here as part of our month long honeymoon throughout Italy. Overall, the place was safe and quiet and close walking distance to great food and stores. Something we don’t recommend is the breakfast service. It cost us €14 for two people total each day. We were told there would be bacon and eggs and full breakfast.
