"On the whole, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. There was a hiccup when we check in and they could not find our booking. It took some time but was sorted out. One minus point was the drainage at the shower area. The drainage was not good and fast enough for the rain shower and it started to pond and eventually flow out of the shower area. That makes the floor very slippery and thus the chances of slipping and falling is high."

"From the moment you arrive at The Banjaran you know that there is something special on offer. "Despite hotel providing ear plugs, could still hear noise coming from the main road. Bed quilt was smelly and waited about 1/2 hour to replace. Rain shower was good but can see soap scum on glass and surrounding. Brekkie was good but considering paying top price for the 2 rooms, there are better options elsewhere."

"The property is older and has mould and bugs which are hard to ignore. We liked having the fridge, kettle and large space but the fridge was not cleaned well and I feared setting things down on the bottom. Our room was at the end of the building (quieter) but the wifi did not reach to connect. We had suggested drivers from the hotel cancel on us and little help from the front desk on options. "Limited parking but the guards are very helpful. Shower water temperature keeps fluctuating from hot to cold even without changing the tap setting. Room is clean and doesnt feel cramped."

"Lived our stay at this beautiful hotel. It was close to everything and we walked everywhere. A nice park across the street with a clock tower all lit up. Lots of dining options in the town and the food at the restaurant onsite was good too. Breakfast was plentiful. Small gripe…gym was small and no pool. "

"The property was kept clean. When it rains heavy, the sound can be heard quite loud at night. Overall, the stay was ok. "

"Love the location of the property, away from main road and set back, not far from Brinchang town. Beautiful property ground, love our room facing the mountain! Staff was very friendly. Service and food at The Lantern Chinese restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffer was good but could improve with more rotation of different varieties of food. We stayed 3 nights and breakfast quickly became very repitative."

"The bedrock hotel is a great place to stay and Debbie the manager and all the staff are wonderful. The hotel is spotless and the breakfast was really nice. Good choice of western and Malaysian and buffet. If you visit Ipoh this is the place to stay "

"Very cool concept, we really enjoyed feeding the koi out the back of our room. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Nice shower, room safe and everything else you could need. Decent location, 15 minute walk into town or the grabs are cheap and available. Breakfast was also nice and staff super helpful"

"The building was beautiful, the staff were fantastic. It’s across from a park and walkable to all the town has to offer. Small quibbles were the internet - kept going in and out, and while the breakfast was more than plentiful, the food was not kept warm. Will stay again if we’re in town. "
